Measurable Impact, Real Change
Every number represents a family that gained access to fresh, nutritious food. Our impact is measured not just in pounds distributed, but in health outcomes improved, children educated, and communities transformed through the power of food-as-medicine.
Program-by-Program Outcomes (FY 2025)
Mobile Produce Pantry
Our mobile pantry fleet completed 1,456 distribution runs in fiscal year 2025, serving an average of 112 families per stop across all 28 weekly locations. The fleet traveled a combined 87,400 miles delivering produce sourced from 62 Georgia partner farms. Client satisfaction surveys report a 96 percent satisfaction rating, with 89 percent of regular recipients reporting increased fruit and vegetable consumption since beginning to use the pantry. The average family receives produce valued at approximately $42 per week at retail grocery prices, translating to an annualized food cost offset of $2,184 per household.
Medically-Tailored Meals
Our medically-tailored meals program achieved significant clinical outcomes across all five condition categories in FY2025. Diabetic participants showed an average hemoglobin A1C reduction of 1.8 percentage points over six months of enrollment, with 67 percent achieving their target A1C goal. Heart failure patients experienced a 38 percent reduction in emergency department visits compared to the 12 months prior to enrollment. The program delivered 88,400 individual meals across 19 counties, with a 94 percent on-time delivery rate and a meal adherence rate of 91 percent as self-reported by participants.
School Nutrition Education
In the 2024-2025 academic year, our certified nutrition educators delivered 912 classroom sessions across 38 Title I elementary and middle schools in 23 counties. Post-program assessments showed that 78 percent of participating families reported increased fresh produce consumption, 65 percent of students tried at least one new vegetable during the program, and 83 percent of students demonstrated improved nutritional knowledge on standardized pre- and post-assessments. The program distributed 12,600 take-home produce bags, providing an average of 3.5 servings of fruits and vegetables per student family per week.
Community Garden Network & Cooking for Wellness
Our 24 community gardens across 16 counties collectively produced 18,000 pounds of fresh produce in the 2025 growing season, with surplus shared through neighborhood gleaning agreements and donated to local emergency food providers. The Cooking for Wellness program graduated 420 adults in FY2025 across 54 eight-session class cycles. Follow-up surveys showed 82 percent of graduates cooking at home at least four nights per week, compared to an average of 1.7 nights pre-enrollment, with sustained improvement maintained at the six-month follow-up checkpoint.
